Warm Ivory Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Korvai Saree with Twin Bird Buttas and Burnt Orange Border
Warm Ivory Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Korvai Saree with Twin Bird Buttas and Burnt Orange Border
A warm ivory Kanchipuram silk with the quiet beauty of unbleached silk, this saree lets its woven details do the talking. Across the body, beautiful twin bird buttas appear in gold zari at measured intervals, bringing light and movement to an otherwise serene expanse of silk.
❖ Handwoven, start to finish. 45 days — dyeing the thread, setting up the loom, and weaving the final piece.

Its Korvai border creates the defining contrast. A fine deep-maroon transition gives way to burnt orange silk, framed above and below by elaborate gold zari bands. A slender forest-green edge finishes the border, adding an unexpectedly beautiful final note of colour.
Turn to the pallu and the restraint becomes richness. Deep maroon silk is covered with a closely repeated gold zari pattern, producing a glowing field that feels distinctly ceremonial while remaining harmonious with the warm ivory body.
Handwoven in the Kanchipuram tradition, it is a saree for someone drawn to old-world colour combinations and meaningful woven detail: warm ivory, temple-like burnt orange, deep maroon, forest green and the unmistakable brilliance of gold zari.
