What fabrics and materials do you use?

We stock an extensive fabric library — cotton, silk, silk cotton, Chanderi, tissue silk, velvet, Banarasi, Ajrakh, block-printed cotton, modal, mulberry silk, and raw silk — along with quality embroidery materials, including the kemp stones used in our Tanjore collection blouses.

Can I choose a standard size or does it have to be made to measure?

Both options are available. Many clients are happy with a standard size from our size chart, while others prefer a made-to-measure fit based on their own measurements for an even closer feel.

Where are Idam Living blouses made?

Every blouse is designed and stitched at our own studio in India and shipped from there. For the rare case an alteration is needed after delivery, we also work with a trusted local tailor in New Jersey.

What is the timeline for these blouses?

All handcrafted blouses are completed and delivered within three weeks from the date of ordering, plus an additional four to five days for embroidered pieces. Free delivery is available within the USA.
