Warm Ivory Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjivaram Saree with No-Zari Pattupet Silk Thread Border

Warm Ivory Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjivaram Saree with No-Zari Pattupet Silk Thread Border

A little self-care in silk — pampering herself with a new Kanjivaram — calls for a saree of quiet, understated beauty. This saree is handwoven in the traditional Pattupet style — a no-zari weave where coloured silk threads alone form the border motifs. Each saree takes 46 days from dyeing to weaving and cannot be replicated by machine. Woven by our family's artisan weaver families in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu. Read our story.

Handwoven to order, not mass-produced. Handwoven to order. 46 days, start to finish — from dyeing the silk thread to the final weave on the loom.

The serene warm ivory pure mulberry silk body highlights the natural lustre of pure mulberry silk, allowing the craftsmanship and refined simplicity of the weave to take centre stage — a signature Kanchipuram pure silk Kanchipuram Pattupet construction.

Unlike zari-bordered sarees, this design features a beautifully woven silk thread border with no zari, where intricate rust, mustard, and olive green silk threads form elegant traditional motifs. The richly patterned Pattupet border offers depth and heritage character through coloured silk alone.

A graceful choice for temple visits, cultural celebrations, and those who appreciate the quiet beauty of traditional Kanchipuram weaving. Pair with a rust or olive green silk blouse and understated gold jewellery for a serene, sophisticated finish.
