The warm-ivory body is handwoven in pure mulberry silk, with rows of paisley, peacock and floral zari motifs individually woven across it, each zari row alternated by fine silk-thread Veldhari lines.

The broad Sevvanthi rust-orange border features Mayilkann peacock-eye patterns arranged between Mayilpet peacock and Yaanai Ambari elephant panels, while the pallu is densely woven in burnished gold zari with layered traditional and geometric motifs — a true heirloom piece.
