A Korvai saree: fine coral-terracotta Veldhari silk-thread stripes run across the ivory body, with rows of gold-toned floral and peacock-inspired zari motifs between them. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. A saree of this complexity represents approximately 18 active days on the loom, with exact weaving time varying according to the individual saree. Read our story.

Border A broad coral-terracotta Korvai contrast border, lavishly articulated in zari: framed registers of Yaanai elephants, geometric diamond pettu, stylised peacock and floral forms, and a wide metallic lattice panel.

Pallu The coral pallu is richly woven with dense diamond-grid zari, alternating ornamental bands and framed peacock and elephant-inspired figures, finishing in coral tassels.

Styling Wear with a blouse in the border shade for a traditional silhouette, or choose a restrained silk blouse to let the pallu's workmanship take centre stage. Suitable for weddings, temple celebrations and family occasions.
