Vermilion Red Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Korvai Saree with Deep Purple Gold Zari Border

Vermilion Red Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Korvai Saree with Deep Purple Gold Zari Border

Vermilion Red gives this handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram an intense ceremonial presence, while minute gold-zari geometry develops across the body in a refined diamond lattice. The closely repeated structure gives the red silk a jewelled surface without obscuring its saturated colour.

❖ Made to order, not off a shelf. This saree took 45 days — dyeing, threading, and roughly 20 on the loom — to complete.

Traditional Korvai construction creates a decisive transition into Deep Purple, separating the contrast border structurally from the red body. Handwoven in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Read our story.

Border & Pallu: Substantial traditional gold zari moves through layered geometric and ornamental registers against the Deep Purple border. The pallu becomes considerably richer, opening into a gold-dense field of fine geometry and broad traditional ornamental panels.

Styling: Continue the contrast with a Deep Purple blouse, or choose tonal Vermilion for a saturated treatment. Antique-gold temple jewellery works naturally with the architectural zari, while restrained emerald accents can introduce a cooler counterpoint.

Slight color variations due to screen and lighting; daylight photos/videos available on request.

Blouse Piece Included: 0.8m running blouse piece. See our Blouse Stitching Guide.
