Body, Border and Pallu: The contrast begins at the Pettu, where Manjal gold builds into a more ceremonial vocabulary. Layered Seer bands, minute geometric textures and framed floral forms create depth without interrupting the simplicity of the ivory body. The pallu becomes the richest passage of the saree. Almost entirely luminous in gold, it opens into a dense diamond-Kattam field filled with minute ornamental geometry and finely worked registers along the sides.
