A classic Butta composition defines this Kanjivaram, woven in pure mulberry silk, with small individually spaced gold zari buttas woven across a saturated Vadamalli purple body. The open spacing allows the silk colour to remain dominant while the metallic details appear as small points of light. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Border: The tonal purple border is deliberately restrained, built from repeated fine classic-gold zari lines and a broader diagonal striped zari register rather than a dense figurative motif panel.

Pallu: The tonal Vadamalli purple pallu is markedly more architectural, with broad vertical classic-gold zari panels separated by narrow purple silk channels. Fine closely ordered metallic lines give each broad panel its luminous surface, while parallel zari bands and a diagonal striped terminating register complete the lower edge.

Styling: Keep the strong purple-and-gold geometry clean with an antique-gold, deep olive or tonal purple blouse. Temple-style earrings and one substantial cuff are enough for evening functions; for daytime ceremonies, jasmine around a low bun and a compact gold potli will soften the graphic pallu without obscuring its long vertical zari panels.
