The Korvai border creates the dramatic transition. The colour moves decisively into Kumkum red to vermilion, where broad antique-gold zari registers carry traditional figurative, floral and geometric ornament. Narrow forest-green lines run through the composition, introducing a cool, jewel-like contrast against the otherwise warm yellow, red and gold palette.

The pallu becomes considerably more elaborate. Vermilion-red silk is densely worked with antique-gold appearance zari, including a repeated geometric central field, ornamental side registers and clearly visible elephant motifs woven in procession.
