16 Days on Loom
Pure Mulberry Silk
Handwoven in Kanchipuram
A plain-bodied saree with a Kaal Irangiya border: a soft teal expanse framed by a pastel-pink border of silk-thread weaving and fine zari. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. A saree of this complexity represents approximately 16 active days on the loom, with exact weaving time varying according to the individual saree. Read our story.
Border On the pastel-pink border, silk-thread weaving meets zari: paisley motifs set inside arches and floral muthu seer motifs placed within purple silk thread, finished with periwinkle silk-thread weaving in the Kaal Irangiya style and a matching periwinkle selvedge.
Pallu A grand seer pallu, where handwoven zari arrays gather in rich, glowing rows.
Styling Pair with a pastel-pink or teal silk blouse and delicate gold jewellery for a soft, luminous look. Lovely for weddings, temple visits, festive gatherings and meaningful gifting.
