Body: The pure silk body has a soft ivory base crossed with incredibly fine checks in forest green, deep berry, muted black and touches of raspberry. From a distance, these miniature lines melt together into an almost silvery, softly shadowed neutral, giving the saree an unusually subtle surface despite its complexity. Border: The border changes the entire mood. It moves from raspberry-red toward vermilion and is edged with a sliver of intense pink, then enriched by warm gold zari.
