Soft Champagne Ivory Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchi Pattu Saree with Korvai Floral Panel Border
Soft Champagne Ivory Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchi Pattu Saree with Korvai Floral Panel Border
A 25th silver jubilee anniversary is exactly the kind of milestone worth marking in a new Kanjeevaram, and this Soft Champagne Ivory Pure Silk Kanchi Pattu saree is built for it. Body and border are woven separately and structurally interlocked on the loom — the defining construction of Korvai weaving. Each saree involves two separate weaving processes, taking 45 days from dyeing to weaving, and cannot be replicated by machine. Woven on traditional looms by families in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu. Read our story.
❖ Handwoven to order, not mass-produced.
Handwoven, start to finish. 45 days — dyeing the thread, setting up the loom, and weaving the final piece, roughly 20 days of which is on the loom.
The body is a refined soft champagne ivory, in pure mulberry silk, scattered with elegant circular gold zari buttas. Discover more Korvai Kanchipuram silks.
The vermilion-red Korvai border is densely woven with gold zari floral panels, geometric bands and deep green accents, continuing into the pallu — a border rich enough to be the centrepiece of the drape.
Styling Tip
Keep the drape and jewellery classic — gold temple earrings, a low bun, disciplined pleats — then introduce one contemporary note through a structured, architectural blouse. That single modern decision keeps a traditionally styled saree from feeling dated for an anniversary evening.
Blouse Piece Included: 0.8m self-colour champagne ivory silk. Complimentary custom stitching through Aug 27 ($30 value) — see our Blouse Stitching Guide.
