Shot Colour Orange-Pink Handwoven Katan Silk Chanderi Saree with Bird Motif and Silver Border

A saree that shifts colour as it moves — warm orange deepening into coral pink across the body, a shot-colour effect created by weaving two different coloured threads together. This is a Katan Silk Chanderi: woven with tightly twisted pure silk in the weft and fine silk in the warp, using the extra-weft technique for its zari motifs. Because the fabric skips the degumming process, it stays exceptionally lightweight and transparent, with a more structured drape than a silk-cotton blend. The border is a wide silver zari band edged in black pinstripes with a green accent stripe — a graphic, contrast finish against the warm shot-colour body.

Care: Dry clean only. Store folded in a soft muslin or cotton cloth away from direct sunlight. Shot colour silk is particularly light-sensitive — store away from direct sunlight to preserve the colour shift. Do not spray perfume directly on the silk or zari.
