Sandalwood Ivory Varisaipet Pure Silk Kanjivaram Saree with Arakku Red and Emerald Border
For a muhurtham morning, a temple ceremony or a cherished family milestone, this saree brings together warmth, restraint and ceremonial detail.
Silk Mark Certified Pure Mulberry Silk Handwoven in Kanchipuram
The body is a luminous sandalwood ivory, warm rather than stark, with small gold buttas resting across the silk like scattered morning light. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Read our story.
Border: Stacked layers of traditional Kanchipuram butta motifs, including annapakshi, yazhi, peacock and kamalam pettu, arranged in an array.
Pallu: An ornate, rich pallu with a grid-zari handwoven lattice of rudraksham, mayil, kamalam and chakram motifs, with vanki and aria madam silk thread bands interwoven into the zari.
Styling: A deep red silk blouse, traditional gold jewellery and jasmine make a classic pairing. For a quieter look, choose matching sandalwood silk and let the border lead.
