Sampangi Gold gives this handwoven Pure Silk Kancheepuram an unusually burnished warmth. The silk recalls the deep golden centre of a champaka flower touched by honey, antique bronze and the faintest coppery glow. It is mellow rather than bright, set against a saturated Rani Pink contrast closer to crushed bougainvillea petals than to red.

The body carries softly woven floral creeper and ornamental zari work, allowing the Sampangi Gold silk to remain the dominant visual field. The gold ornament moves gently through the body rather than covering it in a dense metallic surface, preserving the warmth and depth of the burnished colour.

Border: The contrast turns to saturated Rani Pink and becomes considerably more structured. Classic gold zari is organised through geometric Reku-style lines, floral scrolls, circular medallion-like forms and stylised leaf and paisley elements. The vivid pink ground gives the warm gold a deeper jewel-toned presence.

Mundhanai: The pallu is densely built through a fine diamond-lattice gold-zari field, long ornamental vertical panels and repeated traditional decorative bands. Against the Rani Pink silk, the concentration of classic gold creates an architectural finish with the visual weight of traditional Kanchipuram ceremonial weaving.

Styling: A Rani Pink blouse gives the strongest continuation of the border and mundhanai, while Sampangi Gold creates a quieter tonal approach. Pair with antique-gold jewellery and restrained ruby or deep-rose accents. Muted-gold footwear and a Rani Pink, antique-gold or deep-brown clutch will keep the burnished palette cohesive.
