Rust Gold gives this handwoven pure silk Kanjivaram Butta fusion saree an exceptionally luminous surface. Fine diagonal zari lines run across the silk, creating a richly textured field that shifts between antique gold, warm copper, muted rose-gold and deeper rust as the light moves across the weave.

This is a confirmed Butta composition in pure mulberry silk, with its body substantially more zari-rich than a conventional open Butta saree, with continuous fine diagonal zari ribbing and a Banarasi-style ornamental design language carried through into the border and pallu. A saree of this type typically represents approximately 12 to 16 active days on the loom, although individual weaving time varies. Body, Border and Pallu: The Rust Gold body is built through continuous fine diagonal zari ribbing over a Rust Gold silk base, giving it a substantially more zari-rich surface than a conventional open Butta saree. The border brings Banarasi-style ornamental design language into the Kanchipuram construction: a broad antique-gold woven field carries warm rust and copper-toned detailing, large paisley-shaped ornamental forms and stylized botanical elements in dense traditional decorative registers. The pallu is the centrepiece — a dense metallic field built through repeating geometric texture, long ornamental registers, floral details and richly woven paisley-inspired forms, giving it an almost brocade-like richness against the more uniform diagonal texture of the body.
