The body is woven from pure mulberry silk in a deep royal plum, with a rich lustre that lets the zari buttas shine across the drape. Evenly spaced Mayil (peacock) and Kamalam (lotus) Butta motifs are worked in radiant zari, celebrating two of the most iconic symbols in Kanchipuram ceremonial silks.

The contrast blush pink border is richly woven with intricate antique gold zari featuring yali motifs, floral bands, and heritage-inspired detailing. The grand pallu mirrors the same elaborate craftsmanship, completing the saree with exceptional richness.
