The royal ivory body is woven from 100% pure mulberry silk, its surface carrying continuous Vairaoosi zari lines and delicately scattered with zari buttas that catch the light without overwhelming the graceful shimmer of the weave. Its warm ivory tone sets a refined foundation for the vivid royal blue border ahead, a hallmark of Kanchipuram ceremonial silks.

The magnificent royal blue border carries an exquisite array of Yazhi motifs — the mythical guardian creature of Tamil temple sculpture, part lion and part elephant — rendered in gleaming zari, a striking departure from florals that evokes strength and protection. The grand pallu continues this intricate artistry, making every fold a study in heritage weaving.
