Red Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with All-Over Gold Zari Floral Jaal

This red Kanchipuram carries an all-over gold zari Floral Jaal across the body, inspired by the grand weaving vocabulary of the Banarasi tradition, reinterpreted on the Kanchipuram loom. In the Butta weave, motifs are woven individually and directly into the fabric on the loom.

The deep red body is entirely covered with a continuous gold zari Floral Jaal — large, rounded chrysanthemum blooms with layered petal structures, connected by sweeping stems and paired bud forms. The gold zari weave across the full body creates a luminous, textured surface — the red silk and gold in that classical South Indian bridal dialogue, each amplifying the other.

The border is a broad gold zari band in deep gold, carrying an intricate Yazhi and scroll composition, with a matching red silk edging at the selvedge. The pallu echoes the body's Floral Jaal seamlessly, the gold on red ground unbroken in its opulence.
