Raspberry Pink Handwoven Pure Silk KanchiPattu Saree with Gold Zari Floral Motifs and Elephant Border
Raspberry Pink Handwoven Pure Silk KanchiPattu Saree with Gold Zari Floral Motifs and Elephant Border
Vishu — Kerala New Year kani darshan at the local temple — calls for a saree that feels both festive and effortless. This handwoven pure silk KanchiPattu saree is woven using finer 2-ply and 3-ply mulberry silk yarn, giving it a graceful, easy drape. Each saree takes 10 days on the loom and cannot be replicated by machine. Handwoven by generations of artisans in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu. Read our story and explore our pure silk Kanchipuram collection.
The raspberry pink body is woven in pure mulberry silk using our light weight construction — finer 2-ply and 3-ply yarn that gives the saree a fluid, easy drape without compromising its richness. Delicate gold zari floral motifs are spaced gracefully across the body, catching the light with quiet elegance. Explore more of our Kanchipuram ceremonial silks.
The border is woven with traditional zari elephant motifs, temple-inspired bands, and finely detailed geometric zari panels — a design language traditionally associated with prosperity and ceremony. The pallu carries the same handwoven zari artistry through to its edge, completing a Kanchipuram silk designed to be treasured for years.
This saree suits Vishu celebrations, temple visits, and festive family gatherings equally well. Pair it with a self-colour raspberry pink silk blouse, and antique gold jewellery — a temple-style necklace and jhumkas work beautifully against the zari border.
