Rani Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Butta Saree with Warm Classic Gold Zari Border

Rani Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Butta Saree with Warm Classic Gold Zari Border

Rani Pink gives this handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram a vivid, saturated colour reminiscent of fresh rose petals and the concentrated pink of traditional flower garlands. Small classic-gold zari buttas are scattered sparingly through the body, allowing the colour itself to remain the principal visual element.

Handwoven in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. The uncomplicated Butta body creates a clean field of pink before the saree develops into a substantial ceremonial lower border. Read our story.

Border: Warm classic-gold zari is densely woven through ornamental bands, floral scrollwork and fine linear Reku detailing. Across the folds, the gold can move visually between brighter gold and a softer copper-gold glow under changing light, without implying a change in zari composition.

Styling: A tonal Rani Pink blouse keeps the colour saturated and uninterrupted, while Deep Neelam, deep green or Arakku creates a stronger traditional contrast. Antique gold offers a ceremonial direction. Pair with temple jewellery, pearls or restrained emerald accents.

The joyful pink-and-gold palette works naturally for Vijayadashami, Deepavali, weddings, receptions, arangetrams, temple celebrations and other festive occasions, ceremonies, cultural gatherings and special occasions.

Slight color variations due to screen and lighting; daylight photos/videos available on request.

Frequently bought together

What shade of pink is this Kanchipuram saree?
This saree is a saturated Rani Pink, a vivid concentrated pink with greater intensity than blush, dusty rose or pale rose shades.
How are the buttas arranged across the body?
Small classic-gold zari buttas are scattered sparingly across the Rani Pink body so the vivid silk colour remains visually dominant.
What makes the border different from the body?
The body is deliberately restrained, while the broad border concentrates warm classic-gold zari into dense ornamental bands, floral scrollwork and fine linear Reku detailing.
What does the Reku detailing add?
The fine Reku lines introduce disciplined linear divisions around the richer ornamental work, helping frame the broad gold border.
Why can the zari sometimes appear copper-gold?
Changing light and folds can make the warm classic-gold zari appear softer or slightly copper-toned visually. This describes appearance only and does not indicate copper composition.
Is the pallu design specified?
No. The pallu has not been separately confirmed for this product, so no pallu colour, motif or construction should be added to the listing.
Which blouse colours would complement Rani Pink?
A tonal Rani Pink blouse creates a saturated monochromatic look, while Deep Neelam, deep green or Arakku introduces stronger traditional contrast. Antique gold creates a ceremonial treatment.
Can Idam Living stitch a custom blouse for this saree?
Yes. Custom Blouse Stitching is available as an optional Idam Living service and can be coordinated around the Rani Pink body, warm gold border or a contrasting colour direction.
What length and finishing are included?
The saree measures 6.3 m in total, including a 0.8 m running blouse piece. Fall & Pico is complimentary and included as a finishing service.
