The Zari Kattam structure forms a fine, regular grid across the saturated pink silk, with small paisley-shaped zari buttas placed at intervals over the checks. The restrained scale of the grid lets the gold-bordered edge and pallu become the stronger elements of the saree. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Border: The broad gold zari border features two registers of closely repeated circular floral medallions around a central diamond-patterned geometric band. Fine ornamental dividers and a small pointed edging define the transition from the pink checked body into the denser border.
Pallu: The pallu is closely filled with small geometric gold zari repeats, giving it a more continuous metallic surface than the body. A decorative floral edging and patterned registers frame this dense field.
Styling: Keep the blouse plain Rani pink for a coordinated look, or pair with antique gold to echo the border. A sculptural pair of gold earrings and a neatly gathered pallu are sufficient to show the fine checks against the large medallions.
