Deep Ruby Red and Bottle Green Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjivaram Saree with Varisaipet Border

A Tamil family in Herndon, Virginia, is attending a Navarathri Golu, and the women hosting the celebration are choosing sarees that carry the vibrancy of the nine nights.

This Kanjivaram pure silk saree presents itself in deep ruby red — a rich, jewel-toned red that carries both warmth and depth, sitting at the heart of the spectrum that Tamil ceremonial tradition has always favoured — woven in the Lightweight Silk tradition with finer 2-ply and 3-ply mulberry silk yarns.
