❖ Handwoven to order, not mass-produced. Handwoven to order. 42 days, start to finish — from dyeing the silk thread to the final weave on the loom.
The Varisaipet body in peridot green — a luminous peridot green with subtle tonal variations gives the silk beautiful depth, with fine zari lines forming a delicate linear structure across the body interspersed with petite woven motifs, in pure mulberry silk.
The border is an elaborate tonal border woven almost entirely in gold, with rows of traditional peacock motifs, geometric detailing and heritage zari bands, completed with a near-monochromatic green-and-gold pallu that gives the piece a particularly refined, heirloom aesthetic.
Handwoven by skilled artisan families in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, using pure mulberry silk and traditional handloom techniques, this saree is perfect for weddings, temple occasions and heirloom-worthy celebrations.
