The restrained zari structure allows the blue-green colour play to remain visible inside each square rather than covering the silk with dense ornament. Border: The broad Kathiripoo purple border is intentionally plain and architectural, contained by narrow antique-gold seer bands and a deep-green outer edge. Its saturated colour creates a firm visual base beneath the lighter grid of the body.
Pallu: The visible pallu becomes considerably denser, moving into a Kathiripoo purple field filled with antique-gold micro-diamond work and framed by ornamental floral-scroll registers for a luminous ceremonial finish.
