Peacock Blue Handwoven Pure Silk KanchiPattu Saree with Small Gold Buttas & Petite Zari Elephant Border
Peacock Blue Handwoven Pure Silk KanchiPattu Saree with Small Gold Buttas & Petite Zari Elephant Border
Treating herself, a saree bought for no one but her — a little self-care in silk. This handwoven pure KanchiPattu silk saree comes in an iridescent shot-colour peacock blue and emerald green body, adorned with delicate gold zari buttas that sparkle across the silk. Each saree takes 12 days on the loom and cannot be replicated by machine. Our weaver families in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district bring this saree to life on the loom. Read our story.
The Butta weave is one of Kanchipuram's most cherished weaving traditions — the peacock blue body is densely woven in pure mulberry silk, offering exceptional drape, durability, and a luminous natural sheen. Explore more from our pure silk Kanchipuram collection.
The border features a petite antique gold zari border with an elephant motif, complemented by a vibrant raspberry pink selvedge, lending regal, heritage character to this enduring Kanchipuram classic. Antique gold zari pallu in the same elephant pattern as the border, completing the saree with ceremonial richness fit for the most special occasions.
Perfect for weddings, receptions, festivals, and cultural celebrations, this saree pairs beautifully with a raspberry pink blouse and Kemp jewellery or a bold gold necklace. As with all shot-colour silks, keep this saree away from strong direct light for extended periods to preserve its colour play.
