Woven in the Butta tradition, this saree brings Peacock-neck blue (Mayil Kazhuthu) deepening into Neelam blue, with emerald-green (Maragatham) light along the folds. Petite diamond-shaped zari buttas hold tiny handwoven floral details. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. A saree of this complexity represents approximately 14 or more active days on the loom, with exact weaving time varying according to the individual saree. Read our story.

Border: A saturated royal-blue register holds magnificent peacocks with finely articulated plumage in luminous gold zari, framed by arai maadam, rudraksham pettu and closely spaced ornamental gold lines.

Pallu: A green-and-blue silk field becomes a richly handwoven gold zari lattice: a diamond floral trellis, peacock ornamentation and layered decorative bands. The green sections glow like rain-washed foliage against the blue.

Styling: Pair with an emerald silk blouse or a deep peacock-blue blouse and restrained antique-gold jewellery; allow the intricate border to remain the focal point.
