Peach Gold Handwoven Pure Silk KanchiPattu Butta Saree with Antique Rose Gold Zari Border
Peach Gold Handwoven Pure Silk KanchiPattu Butta Saree with Antique Rose Gold Zari Border
Peach Gold gives this handwoven pure silk KanchiPattu saree a soft metallic warmth, moving between peach, pale apricot, sandalwood and muted rose as the silk catches the light. Fine gold zari lines travel through the body in a quiet linear rhythm, while small individual buttas appear at measured intervals across the field. The effect is luminous rather than heavily patterned, allowing the tonal silk and zari to work almost as one surface.
❖ Made to order, not off a shelf. This saree took 40 days — dyeing, threading, and roughly 16 on the loom — to complete.

This is a confirmed Butta composition in pure mulberry silk, with small individually woven gold zari buttas placed at measured intervals across the body alongside fine continuous zari lines. A saree of this type typically represents approximately 14 to 18 active days on the loom, although individual weaving time varies. Woven for Idam Living by skilled artisan families in the Kanchipuram district of Tamil Nadu. Read our story.
Body, Border and Pallu: The Peach Gold body sits between warm peach, pale apricot, sandalwood and muted rose, with fine gold zari lines running continuously through the field and small individual buttas spaced across it at measured intervals. The border deepens into Antique Rose beneath an increasingly rich concentration of warm-gold zari: fine chevron, geometric and ornamental bands are stacked through several registers before opening into broader traditional figurative panels. The pallu takes the metallic treatment considerably further, with dense gold zari covering broad areas in floral, foliate and traditional ornamental weaving, accompanied by long registers of repeated paisley-like and geometric forms. Browse the wider pure silk Kanchipuram collection for more of this character.
Styling: Style it with a Peach Gold blouse for an uninterrupted tonal look, or choose Antique Rose when you want to bring out the deeper notes in the border. Antique or traditional gold jewellery complements the saree particularly well. A sleek low bun or long braid keeps the styling refined for weddings, engagement functions, temple celebrations, Ganesh Chaturthi, Navratri, Dussehra, Diwali and elegant evening gatherings.
