Pastel Pistachio Green Handwoven Pure Silk Kancheepuram Rettapet Saree with Peach-Orange Double-Shade Border

Pastel Pistachio Green Handwoven Pure Silk Kancheepuram Rettapet Saree with Peach-Orange Double-Shade Border

Vishu — Kerala New Year kani darshan at the local temple calls for a saree that feels both auspicious and effortless, and this Pastel Pistachio Green Rettapet was woven for exactly that moment. Twin parallel border lines create a balanced layered edge — the hallmark of the traditional Rettapet weave. Each saree takes 43 days from dyeing to weaving and cannot be replicated by machine. Woven with care by our family's artisan partners in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district. Read our story.

Handwoven to order, not mass-produced. From raw silk to finished saree: 43 days, including about 18 days of hand-weaving on the loom.

The soft pastel pistachio green body is woven from pure mulberry silk and accented with delicate antique gold zari mango buttas that shimmer subtly across the surface, highlighting the beauty of traditional craftsmanship. This is the Rettapet weave at its most vibrant yet graceful—explore our Pure Silk Kanchipuram Sarees to discover the full range of traditional weaves.

A beautifully blended peach–orange double-shade border frames the saree in the signature Rettapet twin-line construction, richly woven with antique gold zari. The gentle transition between peach and orange creates a warm, luminous contrast against the pastel pistachio green body, while the ornate antique gold zari pallu continues the same craftsmanship for an elegant festive finish.

Style this saree with the included self-colour pastel pistachio green blouse for a graceful monochromatic look, or pair it with a peach–orange double-shade blouse to echo the warmth of the border. Complete the ensemble with antique gold jewellery—a delicate necklace, jhumkas, and bangles—for her first Diwali as a mother, a naming ceremony, or any milestone worth celebrating in silk.
