Pale Blush Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Rettapet Saree with Coral Orange Gold Zari Border

Pale Blush Pink Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Rettapet Saree with Coral Orange Gold Zari Border

Pale blush pink gives this Kanjeevaram an unusually soft body, punctuated with small gold zari forms before the palette turns warmer at the edge. Coral orange carries the Rettapet border and continues into a rich copper-orange pallu, creating a deliberate shift from pastel silk to burnished gold.

❖ Made to order, not off a shelf. This saree took 43 days — dyeing, threading, and roughly 18 on the loom — to complete.

The Rettapet technique shapes this Kanjeevaram in pure mulberry silk, with twin-register border detailing and individually spaced gold zari buttas against a pale blush-pink body. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. A saree of this complexity represents approximately 18 or more active days on the loom, with exact weaving time varying according to the individual saree. Read our story.

Border: Coral-orange silk forms the Rettapet edge, carrying twin classic-gold ornamental registers with floral and scrolling zari work, fine geometric divisions and warm tonal detailing.

Pallu: The pallu moves fully into orange-copper silk, densely woven with classic-gold zari in a fine small-scale geometric surface and finished with matching orange tassels.

Styling: Repeat the border with a coral-orange blouse for the strongest colour story, or use muted antique gold for a softer approach. Small gold earrings and a low ponytail or bun will keep the pastel body modern. For weddings, add a compact ruby or coral accent rather than introducing another large colour block.

Current Look: Orange-and-pink Kanchipuram silk is also visible in recent festive dressing. Nita Ambani's September 2026 Ganesh Chaturthi look used an orange-and-pink Kanchipuram with a metallic sheen. This Idam Living saree is a separate handwoven Rettapet Kanjeevaram, reversing the colour emphasis through its blush-pink body and coral-orange border and pallu.

The blush pink, coral orange and gold palette works naturally for Navratri gatherings, Vijayadashami, Deepavali, Karthigai Deepam, weddings, engagement ceremonies, daytime receptions, temple gatherings and other festive occasions, ceremonies, cultural gatherings and special occasions.

Frequently bought together

What does Rettapet contribute to this pale blush Kanjeevaram?
Rettapet gives the saree its traditional double-register border structure, creating a stronger framed edge against the much softer blush-pink silk body.
Why is the coral-orange border important to the colour story?
The coral-orange register introduces warmth against the pale blush body, while the classic-gold zari gives the border enough definition to remain visible without overwhelming the pastel silk.
How would you style a blush pink and coral-orange Kanjeevaram?
A coral blouse emphasises the warm contrast, while pale blush keeps the overall look quieter. Antique gold or muted rose-gold jewellery works naturally with the soft colour transition.
Can the blouse be customized rather than using a standard design?
Yes. Idam Living offers custom blouse stitching, allowing the neckline, sleeve treatment and finishing to be coordinated with the saree and the customer's preferred styling.
How is shipping handled for an Idam Living saree?
Idam Living provides shipping options according to the current live shipping policy. Customers should refer to the shipping and returns information on the website for the applicable destination and service.
