Woven in the Butta tradition, the olive-green silk body is covered in small gold zari Gandaberunda and mayil motifs. Their compact, alternating forms create a regular pattern without obscuring the green ground. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Border: A deep plum-brown contrast border is layered with close-set gold zari lines and a broad ornamental band. An array of peacocks appears along the main register, surrounded by floral scrollwork and small geometric framing bands. The substantial colour field beneath the ornamental work gives the border its strong silhouette.

Pallu: The deep plum-brown pallu carries a series of long gold zari ornamental columns and fine vertical bands, with a richly woven lower register featuring larger peacock and floral forms. Its broad woven field offers a deliberate contrast to the smaller buttas on the body.
