Navy Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Saree with Vivid Magenta Pallu
Navy Handwoven Pure Silk Kanjeevaram Saree with Vivid Magenta Pallu
For a community fundraiser gala, where the diaspora gathers to support a shared cause, a saree should photograph as well as it moves. This Kanjeevaram saree carries a deep navy field bordered in a striking alternating silver and gold paisley panel design, with a vivid magenta pallu for contrast. Each saree takes 12 days on the loom and cannot be replicated by machine. Woven by our family's artisan weaver families in Kunnam village near Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu — read our story.
The body is woven in deep navy pure mulberry silk, kept clean and self-coloured so the border and pallu carry the visual statement. Browse our full butta-work Kanchipuram silks collection.
The border alternates gold and silver zari paisley panels along the navy ground, opening into a vivid magenta pallu scattered with small gold zari roundel motifs. See more pure silk Kanchipuram pieces.
Pair with a magenta or silver-grey blouse, statement silver and gold jewellery, for a gala dinner, a fundraiser evening, or any formal community event.
