Mustard and Plum Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with Sorgavaasal Mayil Border

This saree is woven in the traditional Kanchipuram Butta style, with peacock motifs placed across the body at intervals. Each saree takes 10 days on the loom and cannot be replicated by machine. The body is woven in warm mustard pure mulberry silk, adorned with elegant gold peacock buttas spaced across the field — part of our pure silk Kanchipuram collection.

The contrasting plum border carries the Sorgavaasal Mayil motif, woven in rich gold zari, with the same detailing continued through the pallu.

Pair this saree with a plum or gold silk blouse and temple-style gold jewellery — jhumkas, a vanki armlet, and a gold chain — for weddings, festive celebrations, and temple occasions.
