This Kanjivaram carries a classic Paalum Pazhamum construction in pure mulberry silk, reinterpreting the traditional multicolour checked vocabulary through fresh blocks of Turmeric Yellow, Rani Pink, Violet, Soft Peach and muted earthy tones, creating an almost mosaic-like rhythm.

Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. A saree of this complexity represents approximately 16 or more active days on the loom, with exact weaving time varying according to the individual saree. Read our story.

Border: A Deep Aubergine border anchors the brighter body and carries layered floral and circular gold-zari ornament, creating a strong visual foundation for the gold-zari work.

Pallu: The pallu becomes exceptionally elaborate, expanding into a dense gold composition against the darker silk.

Styling: Deep Aubergine gives the most grounded blouse direction, while Rani Pink or Turmeric Yellow can draw out individual body colours. Antique gold keeps the multicolour structure ceremonial but controlled.
