The body is handwoven in a glowing Manjal marigold-yellow pure mulberry silk, patterned with gold zari kattam checks and delicate Kamalam (lotus) buttas scattered across the surface.

The warm silk is balanced by a lustrous ivory border enriched with intricately woven zari motifs in a softer silver-gold tone, and a magnificent zari pallu carries this richness through to the saree's end, giving the fresh colour palette the grandeur of a traditional heirloom.
