Magenta and Royal Blue Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with Sorgavaasal Mayil Border

A jewel-toned magenta saree suits a festive gathering or an heirloom celebration where you want warmth and richness in equal measure. This saree is woven in the traditional Kanchipuram Butta style, with peacock motifs placed across the body at intervals. Each saree takes 10 days on the loom and cannot be replicated by machine. The body is woven in jewel-toned magenta pure mulberry silk, accented with finely woven gold peacock buttas — part of our pure silk Kanchipuram collection.

The royal blue border carries the Sorgavaasal Mayil motif in intricately woven gold zari, with the same detailing continued through the pallu.

Pair this saree with a royal blue or gold silk blouse and temple-style gold jewellery — jhumkas, a long haram, and gold bangles — for weddings, festive gatherings, and heirloom celebrations.
