Lilac Tissue Pattu Silk Handwoven Chanderi Saree with Floral Buttas & Silver-Gold Pallu

Lilac Tissue Pattu Silk Handwoven Chanderi Saree with Floral Buttas & Silver-Gold Pallu

An engagement ceremony, a daytime wedding function, or a festive lunch calls for a saree with presence but not weight — this handwoven Pure Silk Chanderi saree in Tissue Pattu Silk pairs a luminous lilac body with delicate floral ornamentation and a dramatically lustrous pallu. Read our story →

The body is woven in a radiant lilac-orchid Tissue Pattu Silk, its sheer, luminous surface shifting between soft lavender and a warmer orchid tone as it catches the light. Small handwoven floral buttas are scattered at measured intervals, their pale blossoms and deep green leaf detailing standing out delicately without crowding the ground. The restrained scale of the motifs keeps the saree airy, letting the sheen of the handwoven silk carry much of the visual interest. Explore more from our Pure Silk Chanderi collection.

A broad, softly metallic silver-gold tissue border frames the body on either side, working tonally with the lilac ground rather than in hard contrast — the effect is a considered transition from silk to metallic tissue.

The pallu is where the saree makes its statement: a generous stretch of gleaming silver-gold tissue creates an almost liquid metallic effect, closed with lilac woven bands that bring it back into conversation with the body. Draped over the shoulder, the contrast between the petite floral buttas and the expansive metallic pallu gives the saree an especially graceful finish. Discover the Chanderi weaving tradition →

Chanderi's comparatively light hand makes this a practical choice for occasions that run long — hosting, greeting guests, or simply being on your feet through an afternoon function — carrying festive luminosity without the visual heaviness of a denser silk.

STYLING TIP
For a tonal, sophisticated finish, pair it with the coordinating running blouse. If you'd rather introduce contrast, a blouse in deep aubergine or forest green will draw the eye to the floral buttas without competing with the metallic pallu. Antique gold or restrained diamond jewellery suits its cool lilac and metallic palette well.
