This handwoven pure silk Kancheepuram saree is woven in a lively leaf green, finished with a regal royal purple Varisaipet border. Varisaipet is a traditional multi-band border structure with repeated woven lines, introducing elegant longitudinal zari striping that enhances the silk with understated brilliance. Each saree takes approximately 10 days on the loom and cannot be replicated by machine. Each piece is handwoven in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district by families we've worked with for years.
