A luminous lavender-violet Kanchipuram silk, handwoven in the traditional Korvai technique and scattered with petite gold zari buttas across the body. The buttas are beautifully proportional to the saree’s slim border, allowing the expanse of violet silk and its natural lustre to remain the focus.

The defining detail is the unusually petite Korvai border. Woven in a deeper royal violet and finished with a restrained band of glowing gold zari, its narrow scale gives the saree a refined, beautifully balanced character. The slim border and delicate handwoven zari buttas work together particularly well, creating an elegant sense of proportion rather than heaviness.

The pallu becomes the richer counterpoint, opening into an elaborate gold zari composition against deep violet.
