Ivory Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with Zari Buttas & Raspberry Pink Selvedge Border

Ivory Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with Zari Buttas & Raspberry Pink Selvedge Border

A Satyanarayana Puja hosted at home for a new house warming calls for a saree of quiet elegance. Delicate zari-woven buttas are scattered gracefully across the ivory pure mulberry silk body, woven directly into the fabric during weaving — a hallmark of authentic Kanchipuram craftsmanship. Each saree takes 40 days from dyeing to weaving and cannot be replicated by machine. Each piece is handwoven in Kunnam village in Kanchipuram district by families we've worked with for years. Read our story.

Handwoven to order, not mass-produced. This saree took 40 days to make — the silk is dyed, threaded, and hand-woven over roughly 14 on the loom.
● Silk Mark Certified ● 14 Days on Loom ● Pure Mulberry Silk ● Handwoven in Kanchipuram

The body is an elegant ivory pure mulberry silk, scattered gracefully with delicate zari-woven buttas for a refined shimmer. This is a signature Kanchipuram pure silk Kanchipuram construction, prized for its understated elegance.

The broad gold zari border is woven in rich traditional detail, finished with a subtle raspberry pink selvedge that adds a refined contrast. The pallu continues the same gold zari detailing in a fuller sweep.

Comfortable to drape and effortless to wear, this saree is an effortless choice for weddings, temple visits, receptions, and festive celebrations. Pair with a raspberry pink or antique gold silk blouse and delicate gold jewellery — jhumkas and a slim vanki — for a refined, timeless finish.
