Woven in the Butta tradition, the golden mustard body is punctuated by evenly spaced circular floral zari motifs, allowing the silk colour to remain open and luminous between them. Border: The broad border combines Vadamalli magenta with deep olive-green plain bands and a richly woven gold register of stylised animal and floral forms. Fine seer lines contain the ornament without making the transition feel heavy.

Pallu: The Vadamalli magenta pallu repeats the saree’s circular gold zari buttas and carries the deep olive-green and gold border forward, giving the quieter mustard body a saturated conclusion.

Current Look: Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s recent muted-gold silk saree and jasmine-led traditional styling returned warm metallic silk to a restrained ceremonial setting.
