Gold and Purple Handwoven Pure Silk Kanchipuram Saree with Varisaipet Peacock Border

A soft gold body has a quiet versatility — equally at home at a daytime function or under evening light. The defining feature here is a Varisaipet border: a traditional multi-band border structure with repeated woven lines, built up in layered bands rather than a single motif row. The body is a soft gold pure mulberry silk with small scattered gold-zari florals, kept understated so the border remains the centrepiece — part of our pure silk Kanchipuram collection.

The Varisaipet border and pallu are woven in a deep purple, with repeated gold bands of peacocks — a rich, ceremonial finish traditionally reserved for weddings and formal functions.

Pair it with a purple or self-gold blouse, and let temple jewellery — a gold necklace and jhumkas — complete the look. It suits weddings, receptions, and other formal ceremonial occasions.
