Woven in the Kanchi Kattam tradition, the fresh green body is built from tiny Podi Kattam checks, giving the silk a fine, ordered surface rather than a large-scale checked pattern. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Border: Deep purple frames the fresh green body with warm gold zari. Repeating paisley-style motifs sit within the zari register, accompanied by a row of small triangular accents along the inner edge. The scale remains relatively restrained while the colour contrast gives the border definition.
Pallu: A deep purple pallu is visible with closely ordered fine linear zari work, extending the strong purple contrast beyond the border.
