Emerald Green & Arakku Pure Silk Kanchipuram Ettukol Saree with Oosi Kattam

Emerald Green & Arakku Pure Silk Kanchipuram Ettukol Saree with Oosi Kattam

An Ettukol composition with an extraordinary relationship to light. Emerald green and Arakku silk meet in the distinctive geometry of the weave, while delicate Oosi Kattam zari checks illuminate the surface with a fine, measured glimmer.

❖ This saree was woven over 16 days on the loom in Kanchipuram, using Silk Mark certified pure silk, by weaver families whose craft has been passed down for generations.

The zari is never heavy. Instead, its slender lines move through the silk almost like points of light, giving the saree a brilliant radiance as the fabric shifts. The richly woven pallu carries that luminosity forward, while the deep colour contrast keeps the composition unmistakably Kanchipuram.

Handwoven in pure mulberry silk, this is a saree for someone drawn to structure, colour and quiet brilliance rather than excess.

For the celebrations ahead
Beautiful for Diwali and Deepavali gatherings, Karthigai Deepam, Margazhi temple gatherings, ceremonies, cultural gatherings and other special occasions through the season.
