Woven in the Butta tradition, this silk sets small gold zari motifs at measured intervals against an earthy burnt-orange ground. The brown-toned warmth moves subtly through the folds, making the colour feel mellow and burnished beside the brighter gold detailing. The restrained body gives the ornate border room to be seen. Border: The broad border opens into a luminous field of closely spaced gold zari lines, then moves into narrower geometric registers and delicate circular floral detailing. A slim orange selvedge frames the gold, keeping the palette warm and cohesive rather than sharply contrasted.
Pallu: The pallu is filled with a dense gold zari diamond lattice, framed on either side by repeated circular floral medallions and finished with a richly ornamented end border. Its more concentrated gold work creates a lovely contrast with the spaced buttas on the body.
