The Butta body is handwoven in a softly luminous dusty lavender pure mulberry silk, the muted tone left uncluttered so each antique gold zari motif reads clearly against it.

The border brings together deep forest green and raspberry-red accents with intricate zari and silk-thread weaving, finished with handwoven peacocks and Vanasringaram-inspired detailing — fine ornamental bands frame the larger figurative zari work for remarkable intricacy without overwhelming the saree. An ornate woven pallu completes the piece with richly worked traditional motifs.

Styling Tip

Take the blouse colour from the border's deep forest green for a considered contrast, in a three-quarter sleeve that keeps the silhouette composed. Pearl drop earrings soften the palette further, with the pallu pleated broadly at the shoulder to reveal the peacock zari work, hair in a soft side-parted bun.
