Woven in the Butta tradition, the body is punctuated by individually spaced floral and maanga-style gold zari motifs, leaving generous Vadamalli silk visible between each ornamental point. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Border: The broad border moves through black framing, an emerald-green plain band, compact triangular edging and layered geometric seer rows before opening into a gold register of peacocks and flowering scrolls. The dark contrasts give the zari unusually crisp definition.

Pallu: The black pallu intensifies into a dense gold diamond-kattam field beside a long register of circular floral medallions, then returns to emerald green and the peacock-and-floral border for a richly ordered finish.

Styling: Pair it with a plain emerald-green or black blouse, antique-gold temple earrings and a jasmine-wrapped bun. Keep the pallu open so the black diamond field and circular medallion register remain visible; a single ruby-green necklace can connect the Vadamalli body to the border.
