The Butta body reworks the familiar Maanga motif at a larger scale, then offsets it with smaller baby zari buttas across the deep green silk. The contrast between the open field and the larger motifs gives the saree a measured vintage character without making the body feel crowded. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living.
