Woven in the traditional Varisaipet style, this saree brings together a deep green silk body and a richly layered magenta border. The body is punctuated by small circular and stylised gold zari buttas, leaving generous areas of uninterrupted colour between the motifs. The border introduces a more elaborate rhythm through repeated ornamental registers, finely arranged zari bands and floral detailing. Handwoven by artisan weaver families in Kanchipuram district, Tamil Nadu, for Idam Living. Border: The vivid magenta Varisaipet border is composed of multiple decorative gold zari registers. Circular ornamental medallions alternate with richly worked floral and vine-like patterns, while fine geometric detailing and narrow horizontal bands separate the larger motifs. Dark-toned lines bring further definition to the arrangement, and a narrow dark edging completes the border. The contrast against the deep green body gives the saree its distinctive character.

Pallu: The magenta pallu carries an elaborate arrangement of gold zari ornamentation. Broad decorative registers combine repeating circular medallions, stylised floral forms and finely detailed geometric elements. The densely woven pallu creates a rich visual counterpoint to the open arrangement of buttas on the green body.

Styling: A plain magenta blouse would echo the border and pallu, while a deep green blouse would create a quieter composition.
