Body, Border and Pallu: Petite Maanga-style zari buttas are spaced through the checked field, their small paisley forms appearing as measured points of gold against the green. The restrained placement keeps the body refined while preserving the traditional rhythm of the Kattam. The Pettu shifts into a deep Arakku-Brown and becomes considerably more ceremonial. A continuous Yaanai procession forms the principal zari register, with repeating elephants held among curling Kodi-Valli ornament. Fine Seer bands, geometric lines and a crisp Vanki edge frame the procession in a distinctly old-Kanchi manner.
